Virgin Media today completed running DWDM fibre optic cables into the ServerHouse Fareham Datacentre. The state of art fibre will allow Virgin Media to provide up to 10Gb/s connections to ServerHouse customers. Virgin Media will become the 3rd UK Telco and 2nd Tier-2 provider to POP ServerHouse Fareham.

Showing our commitment to security ServerHouse today completed the installation of a specialist Security door from South African firm TurnStar. The high security door is specifically designed to prevent forced access, prevent tail-gating without in slowing down passage of visitors

Today ServerHouse purchased Webperf.net the UK's longest running ISP bench mark. Webperf was purchased from Zeus Technology for an undisclosed sum by ServerHouse who will continue to run the service and look to develop the tests to more comprehensive tests in the future

The purchase for an undisclosed cash amount from VT Merlin, part of the Vosper Thornycroft group provides ServerHouse with a site for their next datacentre in an ideal location
