Our service is focused on enabling and supporting our customers as best we can ServerHouse is an IT company run by IT engineers; we have hands on experience installing and supporting small to very large IP enabled IT systems. We've done this in office, production and data centre applications to very high standards. We believe this gives us an excellent understanding of what our customers need.

We are flexible and supportive to our customers changing needs; we know the importance of your IT systems and we take all possible steps to support you, to ensure your IT systems are physically secure, powered and cooled 24x7 and to ensure when you do have a problem you have a pleasant, prompt, access to your equipment.

Staff

We feel selecting the right staff and ensuring they're experienced, talented and focused on providing the best possible service to our customers is key to our success. Each member of the team has a unique skillset with a customer focused ethos. This enables us to be flexible, forward thinking, proactive and efficient.

Location

We choose our location to ensure our customers could easily visit us and so we had excellent connectivity and power.

Connectivity

Our connectivity is undoubtedly unparalleled as we host a regional fibre hub for a Tier 1 provider; this hub connects hundreds of local business's and neighbouring data centres to the Internet.

Power

Our power is also exceptional; normally sub-stations are fed by rings which are in turn connected to larger sub-stations (every sub-station will be on a ring of some kind so dual feed 11kv is the norm).
In our case we're on a regional distribution boundary so we have sub-stations on two totally independent rings on the national grid.

This means when there is a power cut one side remains live. A power cut on both sides at the same time would either require two separate faults or a national outage.
We also of course still have UPS's and backup generators with 10 days fuel

Facility

We've have spent over 4M GBP on our data centres to ensure they're very secure, have excellent access and are highly reliable.
But we don't stop there, we know that a system is only as good as its weakest link and requires thorough competent proactive maintenance.
We take extra steps in designing redundancy from the ground up and maintain all our systems to a high standard. This ensures the facility is reliable and prevents any impact on our customers.
